AALF Twin Cities partnered with Kp Inspires to get a custom illustration created in support of their Midterm Election Campaign- providing non-partisan educational resources to encourage Black MN voter turnout. While creating the piece my mindset was to show action/movement through the poses. My goal was to avoid creating characters who simply stood together and smiled and instead create something a bit more visually interesting. The image carries an inspirational energy to vote. A call to action.
